Tales of Esgaroth is the irregular released collection of Tyron's LowRes graphics. Very similar to the ANSI graphics on PC this kind of graphics, also called char-graphics, are used mainly for Bulletin Board Systems to give them a better look but still don't slow down the system too much. All these graphics are done in 16 colors and with the original C64 character set. As the C64 isn't able to display more than one color in a character the development of such graphics is even more tricky.
